Remington

Welcome back readers to another addition of the Buzzy B's and our adventures. This months biggest adventure if you have not heard or seen yet is our son was born this past friday on June 20,2014 at 3:30pm. Before I get into anything lets start off the blog shall we. (For warn this could get mushy)

This month has been crazy busy with work and more work along with being prego it has its perks. While I was prego I worked at pizza hut I would typically cook or be a server which was great. As a server being prego is amazing people tend to tip me more than my other co-workers which made all the female co-workers say they wish they were prego to. People would always ask me day in and day out at work if I was ready to pop or when I was due. I did not mind the very frequent questions from complete strangers all the time but it would have been nice if maybe they would have asked me how I was doing instead of the typical when are you due, what are you having, or have you picked a name ( which was my favorite question because I would always say yes but we are not telling people to which they would ask anyways.... sarcasm in my voice here. In the last couple of weeks of work I was hoping from all the walking around at work it would help me go into labor but no such luck happened to me. I worked past my due date and people were always surprised but to them I would say I'm not doing anything so I might as well work anyways. I went to the doctor on monday and we set an induction date for friday the 20th of June at 7:00am. My friend Ariel also set her induction date the same day as well so we could support each other through the entire thing. Friday came and we went to the hospital I got induced and Remington Paul Brixius was born at 3:30pm. I only really pushed for about 30 minutes give or take. My friend Ariel and I had texted the entire time back and forth which for me helped pass the time better and help keep my mind off of things as well as support each other. My doctor Mrs.Huggins was amazing she is very encouraging and helpful during the entire process. It was something I will never forget. It has been a couple of days since Remy was born and it has been a journey. The days are good and the nights are long as he wakes up frequently but though the tire some nights are hard I would not trade this little guy for anything in the world.

Mr.B has been working hard and doing what he does best and that is being a great man in my life. This past week as Remy came into the world he has shown me that I can love someone more than I knew. During the entire pregnancy he has been my rock and right hand man for everything. When Friday came and we were at the hospital every time I had a contraction he was here holding my hand and letting me squeeze what he calls my thunder grip on his fingers. Dan was and has been amazing through this entire thing. Each time he could tell it hurt he just kept saying you got this or its almost over you can do it. It helped me so much. He is more than I could have asked for in a husband and now father to our little guy. Once Remy was born he just looked at me and said " i love you" and it is words like that, that make me know that the man I married was the man for me. Once Remy was born and we could hold him and love on him anytime that he had a dirty diaper he would get up and change his diaper without question. Every time I needed help to go to the bathroom he would help me. Every time the nurse asked him to do something he would do it. Mr.B is going to be a great father to Remy and a great role model to him on what a true gentlemen is. On another note, Mr.B has only a month left of school out here in Idaho and he is working his butt off to do well. He always does well in the end and I have faith in him that he will finish strong and that he will be ready for St. Louis.

Lexy, Lexy is doing great she is always a fun dog but sometimes she just isn't so bright. This past month she had to go to the doctor. Why, you ask? Well Lexy is something different she likes to eat the grass when we take her on walks and not listen to us when we tell her to stop. She likes to eat it so much that she at what is called a foxtail it is a type of weed. She ate one and the seed got stuck in the inside of her cheek where it got infected and had to be removed by the doctor. Her face got swollen and I felt so bad for her. When we picked her up from the doctor she was still drugged up from the doctor removing it from her face. She was so funny. She could not walk straight which made me laugh so hard I almost peed my pants. I had to even go back into the doctors to use their bathroom it was so funny. We brought her home and she was not allowed on anything because they said she would fall off. So we kept her in her kennel the entire day. We also had to give her a bath because she smelled sooooooo bad that I wanted to vomit. While I gave her a bath Dan had to help me because if I barley touched her she would just about fall over. She is right as rain now but we keep her on a very very short leash because of it now. So those of you who have dogs be aware of foxtail's because they suck for your dog. Lexy and Remy, well they are getting to know each other slowly but surely. Lexy does better each day and is always loved if one of us has Remy then the other has Lexy. She follows us around when we are with Remy and sits next to me (Mrs.B) while I am feeding him and or holding him. She and Remy will be best friends I just know it.

Well that is all for now I hope you enjoyed our update on Mr. & Mrs. Buzzy B. Until next time you, keep your dogs close and your husbands loved :)

P.S. There is nothing better then to see your husband love your son and watch them bond from the other room. It is just priceless....

Mrs.B
