Mrs.B here talking about my dad and why he is the best dad ever even if the days were hard to deal with me he managed to stay pretty dang awesome. My dad growing up and still to this dad is a hard worker and always has been he has taught me the value of working hard and working hard for your money. One thing I learned from my dad is that you need to use money wisely as most dads or parents say " it doesn't grow on trees you know!" my dad would teach me that constantly. As the hot summer days would come and come I would sometimes want a drink from the vending machine and would go ask my dad for a $1 he then would either give it to me or say no you have money. Sometimes I did have money and sometimes I did't so it made me think out why I really wanted that soda and so know when I make other purchases I tell myself why do I need that? And end up walking out the store empty handed. So I defiantly learned that from my dad. One funny thing that people don't know most about my dad is that he can teach you being a kid at heart is fun and what do I mean by that is that it is okay to watch movies like Mulan and Finding Nemo in secret (love you dad) and it makes you feel young or just because you like the movie I think it can make you feel like a kid again. My dad always said I was a true charmer by that is sometimes I would make farting noises with my mouth or dance in stupid ways and he would just look at me shake his head and always told me the truth straight on. If a kid is reading this with you turn away..... growing up I always believed in Santa like most kids do and I always wrote to him every year and when I mean every year that includes this past year I emailed him. I would write him and leave cookies and my dad I mean "Santa" would always respond. Me and my dad have a special bond with something called a buzzy bee growing up he would make a buzzing sound and then act like he didn't do it and tickle me without me knowing it and that is were the Buzzy B's name of this blog comes from at the end of each post. He just always made sure we would laugh when it was time to laugh and have those serious talks with me when he felt I needed him. If I ever needed a real big hug from him I could get one anytime I wanted and it is the best thing ever! Thanks dad for all the memories you leave me with and continue to each day of my life!

I will always admire my dad, Mr. William Henry Brixius. My dad is an inspiration to me and a role model. It is because of my dad that I have decided to pursue a Master's Degree and will soon be applying to grad schools. My dad is the only person on both sides of our family to have not only a Bachelor's degree, but a Master's degree as well. The thing I admire the most about my dad is the time he spent with our family. He is a busy, working man and often had not enough time in the day to do everything he needed to do. Even though he was often heavy laden with work, church callings, and other things, we would always go on a vacation somewhere in the summer. I have seen most of the United States because of our family vacations. The road trips were boring but now I find it is something I miss. We always went somewhere with history, or he would make sure we got to go see history. Whether it was a bus trip to DC to see all the monuments or a road trip to the Grand Canyon, I will always cherish those memories.
Many people are intimidated of my dad. I am not sure why. He is one of the funniest people I know. His jokes may be corny but his mannerisms and his reactions to things make him hilarious. Don't ever beat him in a game of cards though- he is the sorest loser you would ever play with. He won't even let you see the score! (Because he HAS to be the score keeper.) Yet if he wins, then everyone in the world has to know it! Happy Father's day, dad!

And a quick last but not least Mr.B he is a father in a way we could say he lovs our little girl of a dog named Lexy! Some days I feel like Lexy loves him more then she loves me. Mr.B takes great care of her and loves her to death even when he doesn't want to admit it. I know that one day he will make a great father to our future kids because of the examples his family has taught him!
Thats all for now Buzzy B's Out
Mr.& Mrs.B
