Family Ties

Well first off let me start off by saying that my last post about my anniversary and stating that it is on May 5th is wrong I tried to correct it but it wont fix it just yet. I hope that I get to fix it again tonight and that it sticks to the edit this time and it doesn't mess up. Anyways lets get started.( Me and Addi at church while mike and beth are teaching. And Then someone drove a four wheeler to church epic! )

Well this past weekend I got to see my family from Utah. My aunt was in town with most of her family. It was fun we had a lot of fun. We played basketball and messed around and had a good amount of laughs. My grandpa cooked on the grill and my grandma and others set up the food and made some amazing food and what not. We ended by playing a card game we call hand and foot which I haven't played sense I was in my late teens. I worked a lot this past week which was good because I needed the hours and the more experience the better I feel like. Anyways this past week I had a customer who was just a little crazy and what I mean by that is that she just was never happy no matter what I did. No matter how well I thought the photos went and no matter how hard I tried to connect with her kids to make them more happy for the photos it didn't matter. I talked to my sister this past week and she asked me about my blog and that she had been hearing a lot about it which made me feel good like people are actually reading my blog. I feel like my blog means nothing sometimes but just things of rambles and that it just is something that is something of nothing. But I am glad people are reading it. This weekend a sad but a good day did come by.... My great grandpa passed away he was a great man. I remember as a kid during the summers in Idaho sitting on his lap eating cherry's. He never cared how messy I got but all he did was smile and huge tight. I will miss him but I am glad he is with our father in heaven now.

Mr.B has been busy a lot at work and school. He works so hard that he puts himself to sleep right when he gets home sometimes. It is sad that he works so hard but I know that in the end it will be all worth it for him and for our future family. He is working hard and doing his best and I am so happy that he does what he does for him to be preparing for our family some day. He is really into magic the card game right now and he plays a lot with our friends sometimes he plays so much that he loses track of time hahahha. Mr.B and I been watching how I met your mother a lot lately I think that I am more addicted to the show then he is but it is a show we watch together a lot. Poor Mr.B tries so hard at school and work that I think he over thinks and he needs a brake from it all. (Pictures below are of dan and our neighbors daughter Addi)

Lexy, has been doing well but she isn't sure about her new friend Steele our neighbors new dog. He is a Huskie and a very pretty one at that. We are trying something new where we hold her and just let her get close to him little by little. She needs to learn that other dogs are okay too. And that other dogs then the ones she does like are nice too. I love Lexy but sometimes she has her moments where she wants to be friends with other dogs then randomly she isn't so sure anymore.

I know today's blog is kinda random and really boring I am sorry but this is all I got today.

Happy Anniversary

Hello everyone! It's that time again for an update. And this time its all about this past year and all of what we have accomplished and all of the things we have done and learned over our first year of marriage. So let the adventures being.....

Mr.B and I meet back home in North Carolina and became friends for a good while before we started dating. We meet through mutual friends and the missionaries out of all people which is funny because I never spoke to those missionaries over that ward. I planned on going on a mission way before we started hanging out and dating. We ended up dating and I received my mission call to San Jose, California and left for my mission in April of 2011 while Mr.B was off at school in Nebraska. We wrote back and forth for a good while until I felt the need to come home and marry my now husband. We got married on May 12th,2012 and a year later we are here in Idaho waiting for Dan to finish school, me to start some of my schooling and then see where our next adventure takes us. Now that the little history lesson is over for how we meet and what we kinda went through before we got married lets move on.

This past year we have done many things and learned many things about each other. We spent our honeymoon in Cozumel, Mexico. We traveled to Salt Lake City,Utah this past year for the lights on temple square which neither of us had ever seen but we both enjoyed it. We saw all the lights listened to Christmas music in the pretty buildings on temple square. We shared a Rocky Mountain Chocolate apple which is one of my favorite things but we don't have one here in Idaho. We also visited St. Louis over our first summer being married as we worked there for a dish/direct company. While working there over the summer we visited the St. Louis Arch as well as the St. Louis Zoo which we loved so much. We plan to go many other places here and there while we grow with each other and grow in our marriage. We also had the privilege of going on a cruise with my family to the Caribbean where we traveled to many sites and spent time with family and just had a great time.

As for what we have learned while being married I feel we have learned to compromise and learn where we stand on things and where we have to grow still as we will forever be growing together. We have learned that through trails we can get though anything together as long as we can help one another. As I lost my job at one point Mr.B helped me through it like a champ and continues to help me through all the trails and hard times I go though and I am grateful to see his strength to hold me strong. Mr.B is my rock and he shows me how hard work and dedication pays off with all the work he does with school and being a husband and I guess in a way a father to our dog Lexy. It's crazy to see how much we have grown as a couple to see how much we have grown together and learned from each other but we continue to learn each and everyday about one another and how we can improve on all things and be better in all ways.

Dan and I both had to work on our date to celebrate our anniversary so we had to make it the best we could. I went and got us a table at an Italian place and waited for Mr.B to get there before we started to order. Once he got there it was a little late and we had a good time ate and laughed. Once we finished eating it was a little to late fr a movie so we headed to target for some fun just walking around as we made fun of things in the store. Just like we used to do when we were dating. We headed home and called it in for the night. I walked into the apartment to find some of the most delicious chocolate covered strawberries I have ever tasted and a bouquet of sunflowers (which are my fave). I gave him his ring which I got engraved for him which says inside "can I keep you" 5/12/12 which is something he said to me while we were dating and our wedding date engraved. I also got him a photo of our wedding song with one of our wedding pictures on it. It was pretty epic. It was a long day but we did our best to make it our anniversary day even when we both had to work.

Mothers Day

Yes I know we have all read and heard a little about everyone mother today and their mothers mothers etc. Sometimes we need to stop and think about why we love our mothers and what they did for us. This blog post goes out to all the mothers out there and thanking them for everything they have done for us. So nothing about me and Mr.B this time around its all about the moms!

My mom... Well my mom is a special lady to me as all moms are to them. My mom is very special to me because she never gave up on me even when I was wrong and true fully awful to her. My mom is a strong women in everything she does and believes in. She knows what is right and she knows how to stand strong for me and my family. She stands strong next to my dad when he needs it and by me when I need it. Growing up my mom had to put up with me in my tomboy ways and did so with stride. She always taught me that I am my own person and that she loved me no matter what. To me my mom is a superhero in all sorts of ways. She stood up and fought the boo boos that hurt so bad. She helped me pick myself back up when I was down from all the hurt I got from the bullies from school. One thing I always will remember and hope one day to instill in my future kids that my mom did to me is.. When it was my birthday no matter how old I was and no matter what day it was my mom would come to my school and take me out to lunch or bring me my favorite lunch. Every school year growing up my mom took a photo of me going to school with my best friend at the time and it was always a pain but now I have those memories with that friend forever. My mom made my wedding day the best day of my life and she planned it so well and made sure it looked amazing even though she was a busy as could be. Growing up I did not always get a long with my mom and I know she didn't deserve the things and the way I treated her in my bad times but she still loved me through it all and I find that I hope to have that same strength someday in myself for my future children. My mom is a true blessing to me in my life because even to this day my mom calls me out of the blue just to say hi and ask me how I am and what I am doing. She still stays strong and carries on to help me and all my other siblings along in all that we do no matter how old we are. I love my mom and always will even if I get mad at her she is my mom and she is the best mom I could have ever asked for.One more thing about my mom and then I will stop because I don't want to over kill you with why my mom is amazing to me, she always supported me no matter what. In all sports in all school activities etc. And she made sure I could cook food before I got married so that I knew what I was doing even though I wish I could cook as good as her. So thank you mom for all of that and more! Love you!

Written by Mr.B himself:
My mom has been such a blessing in my life. I guess you really don't know all the effort and sacrifice a mom has done for you until you are an adult yourself. I love and appreciate my mom because she gave up a career to raise my brother and I. She made an effort to come to all my sports events. She wrote to me every week while I was on my mission and wrote more length wise than anyone else in my family (letters? these were epistles!) My mom is one of the most selfless people I know and she always gives of herself to help others and take care of their needs. She really tried to involve herself in my life growing up as a kid, even though it got rather annoying. I guess one of the things I will always remember is car rides growing up. Until I got my license she shuttled me to all my sports practices and band practices and everything and we always seemed to have a funny conversations. We would always joke that the conversations between my dad and my brother must have been boring. I spent lots of time with my mom going to and coming from different activities and the talk and the jokes were a lot of fun.

Thats all for this time!

Mr&Mrs. Buzzy B Out!!!

P.S. Tune in next week as today was our anniversary!!! So next week I will talk about our anniversary :)

Have a Happy Mothers Day and don't forget to thank your mother/Mother-law/Step mom etc. What ever you have for all they do and did for you!

Things to think about

So I am back to bore you or maybe if you like my blog that much to honor you with my presence then hahhaahaha honor who am I an honor of haha that was a good one. I crack myself up sometimes. So this week just to give you a teaser before we get started I got a letter from my older brother who is away at boot camp in IL which was something I was excited to come home to. Dan went away for the weekend for a comedy thing for school. Another highlight would be that we got to go get Dan some new clothes sense he lost all that weight which was fun for me and tiring at the same time. So lets get started...

Well sense I actually have a little more to talk about this week with myself I will start with myself Mrs.B. So this past week I worked pretty much everyday at the studio and got to take some photos of some families and kids which was a lot of work and fun at the same time. It brings back the fun I had when I used to do it a lot when I was younger as a hobby. I also got to have some fun with Lexy today actually and I painted her nails which to me is always something funny to me. So this week at work, there is a girl who works there as well who lives about 5 minutes or less from me and we had discussed carpool so it would cut back on gas for both of us and what not and we thought it would be a good idea. So on Friday night I had texted her and said hey would you wanna give me a ride tomorrow (being Saturday and we both were working) and I will give you a ride the next time? She agreed and it worked out great. Except the next day was Saturday and work is about 30-40 minutes away give or take. We had to be there at 10 am and leave around 9:20am to get there on time we did not leave until 9:35 and we ended up being lat 5 minutes all because she needed to get gas and she arrived at my apartment late for some reason then we needed to go get gas on the way. The funny thing is, is I saw that she had enough to get to work without having to fill up but she stopped for gas anyway. Usually she is on the dot on time to work so I thought it would be okay before this experience with her but, now I know. The moral of the story is if you know you are taking someone somewhere and you know they have to be there as well as you at a certain time, it might be good to leave just even 5 more minutes or more then normal. Now that, that story is over from this week with me off to the next. So as I have told you all in the past couple of blogs I have been going through a lot of trails lately and it has been hard for me to go through them all. Well I do not know why I am going through all of them but one thing I realized this week is even though they may be really really really hard for me to understand why I am going through them but just understand someone out there is always going through sometimes worse then you. Also always realize that you may think yours is the worst but we don't need to go and tell the world word for word what it is because theirs might be worse and or yours might be worse but in the end its not whose is the worst but it's how you get through it and how you get stronger from it and learn from it all. Second rant done. Anyways so this time around for sports that I am aloud to do at BYU-I for rec sports I kinda wanna do softball and am hoping I can get on a good time or at least if there is outdoor rec soccer I am sooooo doing that or lacrosse if they have that in rec league ohh the love of outdoor sports.

Mr.B has been so so so busy these past weeks he might have bitten off more he could chew or even shallow at school. The reason being is he is taking I believe around 16 credit hours plus working a lot, being the manager of a comedy club at school, and doing the fire academy. The thing is, is that I know he can do it. I mean he did it pretty much the same last semester and he did great. So I just think he needs to give himself a little more credit then he does. This past week Mr.B had to go to a comedy retreat about an hour an a half away from home and I was invited but couldn't go due to work. He said besides the workshops it wasn't to bad but it wasn't great. They had a little comedy show there and he did really well. So of course he has posted it on youtube and here is the link for it http://youtu.be/KKFKkEp1Q-g ( for some reason whenever I try to add the link it won't let me just copy and paste) He came home Saturday after the retreat and he was doing his homework and after he was done he was supposed to meet me at work around 5:15 so that we could go on our date night. I go to check my phone because I actually needed him to talk spanish to a family for me at work to help sell some photos and he was so burned out he feel asleep. So he rushed and brought my clothes to change into and by the time he got there we had found another girl 5 minutes before he got there to talk to them for us. But hey at least he tried. Well Mr.B has been so busy he always tries to find as much time as he can for me and for the Lexy but more of me then her hahah. Which I always appreciate and love about him.(photo below provided by Mr.B from his retreat)

Lexy, Oh Lexy well she has been doing well until today we found scratch marks on the couch which means she has been on the couch were there is no blanket. She knows better 99% of the time and this has been the second time that it has happened in not to short of a time period so we are thinking about getting her a gate for the house to keep here away from the couches. I love my dog but she needs to learn. If not giving her attention which she hates, yelling at her, and sometimes spanking her for bad things she does doesn't work all else take away her favorite spots to be. After about an hour of not giving her attention, not speaking to her or anything later on I wanted to paint my toe nails so I painted hers too. It is so funny to watch her when I am painting her nails she just sits and shakes like she does for everything.

Well that about wraps it up for me and the buzzy B's

Shout out to my niece Skyler who turned 2 this month I wish I could have been there miss you!

One more thing Shout out to little Miss Addi who turned 1 this week !!!!

Mrs.B out!

It's time for an update

Well I know I have been a little out of it lately and my readers are wondering where I have been. Well I have not been as busy as I was so not as much was going on in my life to feel the need to blog about it so I did not feel to the need to bore you more then normal. So I am ready to update you on these past couple of weeks updates.

Well lets start off with Mr.B who has just been doing great! He has just about met his weight loss goal and is looking better then ever! Mr.B finished his semester about two weeks ago and did very well to me. I think he is his own worst critic as we all are. He passed all his classes with good grades and I am proud of him and think he is doing very well at school and he is doing what he is supposed to be at BYU-I. Mr.B has been named the manager of his comedy club at school which is pretty cool to me and if I already mentioned that sorry about that. Mr.B is almost done with the fire academy and then he will be a certified fire fighter 1 in Idaho. This past week Mr.B has been working a ton to help support us as I had to find a new job. I have always appreciated Mr.B but it made me appreciate him more and more as he has worked super hard this week to keep us strong and afloat. Mr.B will start his next semester this Monday and then he will be just a couple of semesters away from finishing school at BYU-Idaho.

Well its me Mrs.B here and these past couple of weeks have really been something else. I have had to find a new job which I was able to after 20 plus job applications and only a few interviews that came from them. In the end I am just blessed that I was able to find a job and get a job at that. I started my new job this past week and it is something new and hopefully will help me in the future to help me define my skills in a hobby I enjoy which is photography. It will be something will be different and something that I will be able to learn new things about. This week me and Mr.B also gave talks in church which I think went pretty well if I may say so myself. I made some Amish bread this week for the first time, it turned out not to bad. Mr.B says it is also called friendship bread but I had never heard of it before so when he came home and said what are you making and I said Amish bread he asked what it was he said oh friendship bread. I never knew that it was called friendship bread, I learn something new everyday. Well I have not been that exciting this week sorry.

Lexy is here as always snugly and comforting when I or Mr.B needs it, but mostly me. Lexy lost a friend these past couple of weeks sadly. Spud our neighbors dog had to be sold to a new family due to the fact that it was not the right dog for small children which is understandable. At the same time I do not think Lexy misses him to much because she is kind of a one dog show. She loves being in the center of attention and its funny because she never wants attention but if you are giving attention to someone or something else she wants your attention then. One thing that happened this week was Mr.B came home for a minute and left to go next door and as soon as he did Lexy went to the door and sat there and waited for him to come back in.

Well this is it for this week, till next week...

It's an uphill battle

I'm back for more exciting stuff to tell you all... okay maybe it is not that exciting but it is stuff and you read it each week. So lets get started!

Well, I have had some hard times this past week. It has been a big uphill battle for me with a lot of struggles and trails with work and training. On Wednesday my training finally ended but not the way I wanted it to end but it ended. I came home to a very supportive husband and friends. My family and friends are great to help me get though all. I hope that we all understand that we have trails and that we can always turn to our friends, family, and the lord to help us through it all even when we feel like we can't. Anyways on to another note this past week was general conference for our church were our church leaders speak to us weather by television, radio,or the internet, and even by going to your local church to watch it if you prefer. There were some great talks and great quotes that were spoken this past weekend one that I really like was " Marriage is a gift from god" I really liked that because it goes to show you that if you treat your marriage like crap it will be crap! If you treat it with respect and love it will blossom like so. That's what I think at least. So this week we had done a lot of stuff sense I got home. Mr.B has been trying to get me back to my ole self as well as celebrate his birthday! He turned 25 this year and we went all out!

Mr.B, he is pretty great he has treated me so well trying to get me back to my ole self while at the same time allowing me to celebrate his birthday in my funk. This past week he turned 25! Mr.B, I and our Friends celebrated his birthday over the weekend with a decorated home, going out to eat, cookie cake made and decorated by Mrs.B, and gifts from family, friends and more. I think he came out on top pretty dang good if you ask me. This past week he also met with some people from a local radio station who wanted him on their radio station and he is going to be on it tonight at 9pm! It's pretty exciting. Mr.B also just got made the manager of his comedy club at school so that it can keep going through the next semester. All in all Mr.B is just doing amazing! I think one of his highlights this week was going to his mission reunion in Utah. I got to met a lot his old mission buddies and companions that he had. We really enjoyed ourselves, especially when we got to see his mission president.

Lexy, Ohhhh lexy she is pretty funny this week. Our neighbors have a puppy like I have mentioned before and she is not a very big social dog with a lot of other dogs. We tried to force her to play with Spud (the puppy), but she wasn't having it. She was so annoyed from us trying to get her to play with Spud that she growled and even snapped at Spud it was kinda funny. Our neighbors have really been loving on Lexy lately and I love it because it makes me feel that I know that she can give people comfort when they needed it and not just me.

One more thing, I know I have mentioned it before but I have finally gotten my girl scout cookies! A little girl in our apartment complex was selling them to Mr.B while I was on the phone with him one day and he ordered some for me I was so excited to find that they finally came.

Well that's about it tonight,
Mrs. Buzzy B out
